On some images the crosshairs seem to go behind objects. They are not in the camera at all; they must be fake pictures!
The power cable seen here is missing where the moon is. Aha! The power cable is behind the moon then!
Daft isn't it? The same effect happens on digital cameras too. Twice the detail in the book if required.
Every time a part or complete crosshair is 'missing' it always occurs on bright white parts of the picture. Why? Because in photographic terms, that bright white section is overexposed! All the chemicals on the film-base have been used up. No other detail can be recorded; and that's it!
